Leon Clayborne

Leon Clayborne has a diverse work experience. Leon is currently working as the Director of Program Strategy & Community Impact at the just keep livin Foundation since July 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Program Manager at the same organization from August 2015 to September 2022.

In 2015, Leon Clayborne worked as a Production Assistant for AFI: Steve Martin Life Time Achievement Award, where they were responsible for organizing production equipment, supplies, and rentals. Leon also assisted with event credentials and ticket deliveries.

Leon briefly worked as a Production Assistant for Nickelodeon- Kids Choice Awards in March 2015, where they assisted with inventory organization, mobile office construction, and breakdown.

In May 2015, they worked as a part of the team for Red Nose Day (Pre-Tape) Ed Sheeran/Kermit at NBC Universal.

Leon Clayborne began their career at arc: bridging the gap, where they served as a Site Coordinator from October 2009 to April 2011. In this role, they hired and managed staff, collaborated with school administration to create events and programs, and organized leadership council students for peer-to-peer learning.

Leon advanced to the position of Regional Manager at arc: bridging the opportunity gap, where they managed 11 employees at 7 different high school locations. Leon trained staff in attendance tracking software, developed academic enrichment programs, and ensured district compliance from April 2011 to December 2014.

Leon Clayborne attended California State University-Dominguez Hills from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree. Leon focused their studies on Theatre Arts and Africana Studies.
