Joel Newman

Joel Newman is a seasoned UX design leader with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Senior Director of UX Design, Research & Content at Just Eat Takeaway.com, Joel has previously held significant roles such as Global Director of UX, Design & Research. At WorldRemit, Joel was Head of Product Design & Research, and prior to that, at Paddy Power Betfair, Joel was Head of Product Design, where innovative UX methodologies were introduced. Joel's leadership at Rank Group focused on unifying the UX across the Mecca and Grosvenor brands. Earlier in Joel's career, as Digital Design Director at BSkyB, both design teams and stakeholder relationships were managed for platforms such as Sky News and Sky Sports, with previous roles including Studio Manager and UI Design Consultant. Joel holds a degree from the University of Plymouth.
