Inge Verbrugge

Inge Verbrugge is currently the Translational Medicine Lead and Lab Head at Genmab, focusing on the scientific strategy and execution for clinical development of antibody medicines in oncology since September 2023. Prior experience includes serving as the Translational Medicine Lead at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, leading clinical immunology for COVID-19 and chronic Hepatitis B treatments from January 2020 to August 2023. Verbrugge also held positions as Project and Group Leader and Post-Doctoral Researcher at The Netherlands Cancer Institute, contributing to multiple immuno-oncology research projects and securing significant funding. Inge’s educational background includes a PhD from the University of Amsterdam, alongside degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Biology and Chemistry, with additional ongoing studies in integral applied psychology.
