Kemar Newell is the CEO of FLIP, a position they have held since December 2013. Prior to this, they were a software engineer at Google from December 2011 to December 2013. Kemar has also worked as an engineer intern at MIT Lincoln Laboratory from May 2010 to August 2010, and as a hardware engineer at Apple from May 2008 to December 2010.
Kemar Newell's educational career began with him attending Morehouse College where they obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Kemar then went on to attend Y Combinator, where they participated in their startup accelerator program.
