Shawn Burks

Shawn Burks has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Shawn started their career as a Security Analyst at Counterpane Internet Security in May 2005, where they were responsible for monitoring and diagnosing network issues for various customers. In November 2005, they joined Justice Federal Credit Union as a Network Administrator, where they managed and maintained internal and member-facing servers, as well as network connections. During their time at Virginia Heart as an IS Manager from April 2014 to February 2020, they upgraded the infrastructure to ensure HIPAA compliance and redundancy. Currently, Shawn Burks holds the position of Information Technology Manager at Justice Federal Credit Union since February 2020.

Shawn Burks earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from George Mason University, where they studied from 2000 to 2005.
