Melissa Hurst

Melissa Hurst is a seasoned legal professional and community leader with extensive experience in various roles. As a Staff Attorney at the Justice Resource Institute since November 2017, Melissa Hurst has been providing legal services to clients in need. Previously, Melissa served as a Staff Attorney at the Center for Human Development from March 2009 to October 2017, where legal support was offered to disabled and indigent individuals in matters such as housing, benefits, and identity theft. In addition to legal work, Melissa holds the position of High School/Confirmation Coordinator at St. Francis of Assisi Parish since September 2013 and has served as President of the Belchertown Community Band since May 2012. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law, a Master of Public Administration from Clark University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Relations from Clark University.
