Kiah Yancy

Kiah Yancy has a diverse work experience starting from 2015. Kiah began their career at Blue Apron as a Team Member, where they worked in both the kitchen and pack teams to ensure food quality and proper packaging. Kiah then moved on to GEICO as a Customer Service Representative III, where they assisted policyholders and maintained efficiency goals. Following that, they worked at Legends as a Chef, collaborating with executive and sous chefs, running their own stand, and training new chefs. Kiah also gained freelance writing experience at Valnet and worked as an Ecommerce Manager and Editorial Manager & Content Writer at Sweet Recycle LLC. Kiah then joined DealerSocket as a Technical Support Engineer before becoming a Freelance Writer at Hive. Kiah worked as a Technical Support Specialist, User Experience Designer, and UX Designer at GetThru, contributing to user research, conducting usability testing, and collaborating with product managers and engineers. Kiah also freelanced as a UX/UI Designer before joining Sift as a Senior Product Designer. At Sift, they led the design process, developed a consistent design language, and worked on various projects, including self-guided onboarding and free trial improvements. Kiah also collaborated with the engineering team to revamp the design system. Overall, Kiah Yancy has accumulated a range of skills and experiences in design, writing, customer service, and management.

Kiah Yancy has a diverse education history that spans across different fields. In 2010, they enrolled at Tarrant County College and pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Geology/Earth Science, General, which they completed in 2015. During the same period, from 2010 to 2015, Kiah also attended The University of Texas at Arlington, where they obtained a Bachelor of Geology degree with a focus on Geological/Geophysical Engineering.

After their undergraduate studies, in 2015, Kiah furthered their education by attending Southern New Hampshire University. During their time there, which lasted until 2017, they successfully earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences.

Kiah's passion for learning and expanding their skill set led their to enroll in The App Brewery in 2019. During this period, they focused on Full Stack Developer training. In 2020, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Skilljar, further enhancing their skill set.

In 2021, Kiah enrolled in CareerFoundry, where they pursued education in User Experience Design. Kiah'sstudies at CareerFoundry lasted until 2022, providing their with a solid foundation in this field.

Additionally, Kiah has pursued various certifications to enhance their expertise. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp. In 2014, they received a TESOL certification, although the issuing institution is unknown.
