Sarah DiCarlo Keally, MPH, CEM, VaPEM has a diverse work experience in the field of emergency management and public health. Sarah is currently working as a Client Success Manager at Juvare. In their previous role as an Emergency Management Technical Specialist at Fairfax County Government from September 2017 to November 2021, they managed inventory and technical equipment for the Department of Emergency Management and Security (DEMS) and served as the Logistics Section Chief in the Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs).

Before that, Sarah worked as an Emergency Management Specialist at Fairfax County Health Department from July 2013 to September 2017, where they managed the public health emergency preparedness planning program and supervised planning staff. Sarah also worked as an SNS Program Analyst at the National Association of County and City Health Officials from August 2012 to July 2013.

Sarah's earlier experience includes working as an Emergency Preparedness Coordinator at Three Rivers Health District-VDH from March 2011 to July 2012, and as an Assistant Emergency Planner at Chesapeake Health Department from February 2009 to February 2011. In their role at Chesapeake Health Department, they assisted with public health preparedness plans, LTAR and PPHR preparation, and training and exercise development.

Throughout their career, Sarah has demonstrated their expertise in emergency management coordination, collaboration, and response. Sarah has actively sought out new and existing tech solutions to address issues and improve processes in emergency management. Sarah is qualified in emergency management and holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree, as well as certifications as a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) and a Virginia Professional Emergency Manager (VaPEM).

Sarah DiCarlo Keally, MPH, CEM, VaPEM completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General from James Madison University from 2003 to 2007. Sarah then pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Management from Eastern Virginia Medical School, which they obtained from 2007 to 2010.

Sarah DiCarlo Keally also holds additional certifications, including a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) certification obtained from the International Association of Emergency Managers in December 2020 and a Virginia Professional Emergency Manager (VaPEM) certification obtained from the VIRGINIA EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION in May 2021.
