Andreas Hönig

Andreas Aditya Hermawan is a researcher with extensive experience in environmental engineering and water quality management. Andreas served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Monash University Malaysia from August 2018 to August 2022, and prior to that, completed a PhD in Civil Engineering at the same institution from March 2014 to June 2018. Andreas has researched biofiltration systems and stormwater quality management, particularly through bioretention basins. Additionally, Andreas gained practical engineering experience as a Process Engineer Intern at JKS Engineering, where responsibilities included assisting with machine testing, creating operation manuals, troubleshooting, and contributing to machine design and construction. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering, both obtained from Monash University Malaysia.
