Lawrence Brown

Lawrence Brown has over 10 years of professional experience in the legal and compliance industry. Lawrence began their career in 2007 as a Temporary Assistant Clerk at the Connecticut Judicial Branch, Stamford Superior Court. In 2008, they worked as a Summer Legal Intern at the Kings County District Attorneys Office. In 2011, they joined JW Michaels & Co. as a Sr Vice President, Executive Search - Legal, Compliance and Privacy, where they also served as Vice President, Director, and Executive Recruiter. In 2020, they became Co-Chair of the IAPP KnowledgeNet Houston Chapter.

Lawrence Brown's education history includes a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Penn State University and Penn State Law from 2006 to 2009, a B.A. in Political Science from Syracuse University from 2001 to 2005, and a B.A. in International Relations from Syracuse University - Maxwell School from 2001 to 2005.
