Daniel Franz is a seasoned product management professional with extensive experience in leading and co-founding innovative tech companies. Currently serving as Product Manager at Appfire since 2024 and co-founding JXL, which was acquired by Appfire in September 2024, Daniel has established a strong presence in enhancing Jira functionalities. Daniel founded Kickoff, a platform for predicting football scores, and Good News, recognized as one of TIME Magazine's 50 Best Websites in 2013, showcasing a commitment to user-centric design and engagement. Previously, Daniel held senior product management roles at Atlassian for six years, where responsibilities included shaping the Jira Cloud Platform and launching the Atlassian Marketplace. Daniel's educational background includes dual M.B.A.s from ESB Business School and Tecnológico de Monterrey, along with a Diplom in Information Science and Economics from Cologne University of Applied Sciences.
