Hannes Obweger

Hannes Obweger is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving in an engineering role at Appfire since September 2024, Hannes co-founded JXL in December 2020, which was acquired by Appfire shortly after. Prior to this, experiences include Engineering Manager at Atlassian from July 2014 to September 2020, and Founder and CTO of Radiant Minds Software, the creators of Jira Roadmaps. Hannes began a career as Software Architect and Supervisor at Automic Software, playing a vital role in the transition to cloud services, and has held various development and leadership positions in earlier roles, focusing on agile practices and innovative software solutions. Hannes holds multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from Technische Universität Wien.
