Naveed Abdul Hameed

Naveed Abdul Hameed, FCA has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Naveed currently holds the position of Deputy Director of Business Finance at K-Electric since September 2021. Prior to this, Naveed worked at Dollar Industries (PVT) Limited as the Head of Operational Excellence, where they played a pivotal role in the organizational transformation and improvement of performance from October 2018 to September 2021. Naveed also served as the Manager of Procurement and Commercial Supply Chain at Pakistan International Container Terminal Limited (PICT) from August 2017 to October 2018, where they successfully revolutionized the supply chain, resulting in significant annual savings. Before that, Naveed was the Chief Financial Officer at Lucky Knits (Pvt.) Ltd., overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, tax, treasury, audit, and legal matters from February 2016 to August 2017. Their professional journey began at PwC, where they held the position of Senior Manager, Advisory, focusing on ESG, sustainability, and people organization and change. At PwC, they pioneered a business advisory service wing and delivered various projects for clients.

Naveed Abdul Hameed, FCA completed their Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan from 2002 to 2009. Naveed also obtained a Bachelor's in Commerce from Karachi University between 2005 and 2007. Furthermore, they hold a Master of Commerce (Equivalency) from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Additionally, Naveed Abdul Hameed has acquired various certifications, including Excel Business Intelligence, Data Science Foundations, Learning Power BI Desktop, and many others.
