About the role:

We are seeking a Principal Business Lead to join K Health, leading our work with Cedars-Sinai Connect. Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Corporate Development at K Health, and working closely with the Executive Director of Digital and Associate Director of Digital Strategy at Cedars-Sinai, the Principal Business Lead, Cedars-Sinai Connect will manage evolving business opportunities including planning, advancing, and executing important cross-organizational efforts. They will facilitate the work of K Health and Cedars-Sinai teams to execute strategic initiatives and support the ongoing governance related to Cedars-Sinai Connect. This position owns end-to-end relationships with key stakeholders at K Health and Cedars-Sinai, and serve as a critical interface between cross-organization teams

The role is based in the Los Angeles area on a hybrid basis, with ~10% travel based on business needs

Who you’ll work with:

The K Health team includes members from their Product, Analytics, Strategy, and Operations divisions.  The Cedars-Sinai team is made up of staff from the Digital, EIS, Clinical, and Marketing departments. There is also significant interaction with the leadership of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Cedars-Sinai Medical Network, and K Health to support overall strategic goals of Cedars-Sinai Connect.

What you'll be doing:

A Principal Business Lead

  • Leadership: Champions Cedars-Sinai Connect initiatives by collaborating with K Health and Cedars-Sinai stakeholders to develop, organize, and execute high-priority projects, focusing on growth opportunities and new initiatives. Aligns and leads cross-organizational resources to meet program goals.
  • New Business Ventures and Contracting: Explores, pitches, and evaluates opportunities for expansion and growth in partnership with Cedars-Sinai Digital Strategy leadership to bring the value proposition of Cedars-Sinai Connect to more institutions. This could include potential partnerships, new service offerings, or new contracting.
  • Organic Growth and Partnership Development: Cultivates and nurtures relationships with key stakeholders from K Health and Cedars-Sinai (including Cedars-Sinai leadership, clinicians, and administrative staff) to progress Cedars-Sinai Connect initiatives. As guided by both K Health and Cedars-Sinai leadership, interfaces with other departments, leaders, and partners to identify and define needs to move Cedars-Sinai Connect forward.
  • Marketing and Patient Engagement: Works in close collaboration with K Health and Cedars-Sinai Marketing teams to optimize awareness tactics and campaigns designed to facilitate growth of CS Connect. 
  • Product and Engagement Management: Partners with product teams at K and Cedars-Sinai to align strategic roadmaps and resources. Drives complex project management on a day-to-day basis related to Cedars-Sinai Connect, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
  • Reporting and Program management: Serves as primary resource for all Cedars-Sinai Connect data reporting and analysis; including ensuring timely data reporting, data analysis, and data interpretation with Cedars-Sinai stakeholders. Brings reporting to key stakeholders of Cedars-Sinai Connect, helping them understand business performance. Supports material preparation, agenda creation, and documentation for ongoing governance meetings.

  • Communication: Strong communicator across different modalities (written, oral, and presentation); able to synthesize information and communicate appropriately with different audiences
  • Business Development: Proven track record in identifying, pursuing, and operationalizing new business opportunities, including new service offerings and strategic partnerships to expand the reach and impact of Cedars-Sinai Connect.
  • Data-driven: Able to analyze operational, financial, and marketing data to identify opportunities for growth as well as create and execute action items to improve performance
  • Innovative Thinking: Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and propose novel solutions to complex challenges facing Cedars-Sinai Connect.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or related field (required); Master's degree (preferred).
  • 5-7 years of leadership experience in healthcare administration, consulting, business development, or related field, with a focus on day-to-day management and promoting new initiatives.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably within a hospital or healthcare system, with a strong understanding of healthcare provider organizations.
  • Experience working with innovative technologies or digital products.
  • Proven track record in driving projects with multiple stakeholders and promoting innovation within a healthcare organization.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to find growth opportunities, and develop actionable plans to drive business growth and success.

Compensation:
$140,000$160,000 USD

We offer competitive compensation packages based on industry benchmarks for function, level, and geographic location. Offer amounts are determined by multiple factors such as a candidate's experience and expertise.
