Nickolasa Jackson is currently a Legal Intern at Washburn Law Clinic, focusing on criminal law as a student attorney under Kansas Supreme Court Rule 715, and serves as a Research Assistant at Washburn University School of Law. Previously, Nickolasa gained experience as a Judicial Extern at the Kansas Court of Appeals and has worked with K-State Research and Extension as a Nutrition Assistant since January 2020. Additional experience includes facilitating parent and family groups for the University of Kansas, coordinating childcare programs for the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation, and holding various roles in housing management and social services within the same organization. Nickolasa holds a Juris Doctor and a Master of Studies in Law from Washburn University School of Law, a BA in Business Administration from Baker University, and an Associate's degree from Highland Community College.
