Daimhin Murphy

Principal Engineer at K-Tube Technologies

Daimhin Murphy has a strong background in mechanical engineering, with significant experience in the design and development of gas purification systems. Daimhin worked at Entegris from 2009 to 2018 as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, where they designed ultra high purity (UHP) gas purification systems for various industries and customers like Samsung and Intel. Daimhin also led the design of the GPS product line, focusing on minimizing unit size. Prior to that, they worked at Lam Research as a Mechanical Engineer from 2007 to 2009, and at BOC Edwards as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer from 2000 to 2007, where they designed prototype systems for the Semiconductor and Solar Industry using Solidworks. Daimhin provided manufacturing support for system builds as well. Most recently, they worked at K-Tube Technologies as a Principal Engineer, starting in 2018.

Daimhin Murphy attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, but the specific degree and field of study are unknown. In 1997, they passed the FE/EIT exam, and in 2018, they obtained a certification from Cornell University in "ENGR2000X: A Hands-on Introduction to Engineering Simulations - ANSYS." In 2023, they are set to obtain certifications in "Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Fundamentals" and "Geometric Tolerancing Applications and Tolerance Stacks" from ASME.
