Our divisions include iteach, Teaching Channel, Insight Education Group and Lavinia Group.

Location: Remote, available from anywhere within the U.S.

Travel: Up to 10% for team meetings and conferences

The Opportunity

The Marketing Manager plays a critical role in the development and execution of product marketing initiatives that drive product adoption and growth. This role focuses on positioning the product effectively in the market, supporting go-to-market strategies, and working closely with sales, product management, and other marketing teams. The Marketing Manager is responsible for understanding the competitive landscape, creating compelling content, and driving campaigns to generate demand.

The Marketing Manager reports to the Director, Marketing.

What You’ll Do

Product Positioning and Messaging

  • Collaborate with the Director, Marketing to craft clear and differentiated product positioning and messaging.
  • Ensure that the product's value proposition resonates with target customer segments.

Demand Generation

  • Develop marketing campaigns that drive leads and product interest.
  • Develop campaign strategies and messaging to ensure alignment with product positioning.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of campaigns, using data to refine marketing strategies.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis 

  • Conduct ongoing market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies.
  • Gather and analyze competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for differentiation.

Content Creation

  • Develop product-related content, including website, ad content, case studies, whitepapers, blog posts, and email campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the marketing shared services teams to produce engaging and informative product marketing materials.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the product’s positioning and key messages.

Go-to-Market Execution

  • Assist in the execution of product launch plans, ensuring that all materials and communications are delivered on time.
  • Coordinate with sales, customer success, and product teams to ensure internal alignment on launch goals and timelines.

Sales Enablement

  • Work closely with the sales team to gather feedback on customer needs and market challenges.

Other Duties

  • Support the team with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to help meet evolving organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on digital marketing and project management, ideally in K12 education.

    • A deep understanding of educational environments, allowing you to craft messages that resonate with educators and their preferred ways of receiving information.
  • Experience collaborating with key stakeholders and external agencies to implement a data-driven approach for optimizing multi-channel campaigns.

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and tailor messaging to meet their specific needs.

  • Experience with WordPress preferred.

Compensation Range

The compensation range for this position is $72,000 - $93,500.

As part of our commitment to pay equity, new hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the salary band minimum and the salary band midpoint depending on qualifications, location, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.
