Jennifer Coisson

Head, Research Operations at K12 Insight

Jennifer Coisson is the Head of Research Operations at K12 Insight. Jennifer has dedicated their career to helping others achieve their academic and professional goals.

Jennifer began their work in academia as an Academic Coach and Advisor at Florida Atlantic University. In this role, they worked with at-risk students, students on probation or suspension, and students wanting to develop supplemental academic skills. Jennifer was responsible for coordinating student success programs, tracking student progress, and supervising graduate interns each semester.

Jennifer has a passion for student success and has designed and implemented numerous programs to support this goal. Jennifer developed curriculum for FTIC and transfer students as well as the Passport to Student Success series. Jennifer also created the Get Wise: Advising On the Go! program for commuter outreach. Jennifer is certified in Appreciative Advising and is a content contributor for the Staff and Faculty Student Success Newsletter.

Through their work at K12 Insight, Jennifer is able to continue their mission of supporting academic success for all learners.

Jennifer Coisson earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from The Citadel Graduate College. Jennifer also earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership - Higher Education from Florida Atlantic University. Jennifer has two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication and Media Studies, one from the College of Charleston and one from Marist College.
