Alexandre Marinho

Alexandre Marinho has extensive work experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically in wind energy projects.

Alexandre currently works at K2 Management as a Senior Project Manager, where they act as the Owner's Engineer for wind projects in Asia and North Europe. In this role, they are responsible for managing projects in Vietnam and Sweden, including the Nhoi Hoi WF and SGRE SG145-5.0 112.

Prior to this, Alexandre worked as a Renewable Energy Consultant Freelance in the Renewable Energy Sector. Alexandre also worked at Mecwide Group as a Project Manager for the BU Industry & Energy, where they managed projects from July 2019 to March 2020.

Alexandre has experience as a Site Contract Manager at Windhoist Ltd, where they were responsible for managing wind projects in the UK and France. Some of the projects they worked on include Middle Muir WF and Kype Muir WF.

Alexandre also worked at BussolAmper as a Commercial Manager, responsible for business and commercial development in the wind energy services sector. Alexandre was also a Project Manager at ALE, where they were involved in the transport, crane, and installation activities of wind energy projects in Thailand and SE Asia.

Alexandre Marinho has experience in project development and business development in the wind power sector. Alexandre worked at LASO Transportes S.A. in wind power project development, with a focus on African markets. Alexandre performed route surveys for the Moroccan 850 MW tender.

Before that, Alexandre worked as a Project Director at Ventipower/REpower Portugal SA and as a Project Manager at REpower Systems AG. In these roles, they managed wind energy projects in Portugal, Germany, and globally, with a total installed capacity of over 300 MW.

Alexandre started their career at Alstom Power as a Project and Subcontract Manager.

Alexandre Marinho completed a PMP Course in Project Management at Ambithus in 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Lisbon (IST), from 1991 to 1999.
