Seng Lim

Seng Lim is currently the Director of Engineering at K2fly since January 2022. Prior to that, they were the Technical Product Lead at K2fly from January 2021 to January 2022. Before joining K2fly, Seng worked at BHP from 2018 to 2021. At BHP, they held the role of Principal Full Stack Developer from October 2020 to January 2021, where they provided technical direction for platforms and led cloud migration strategies. Seng also introduced and championed DevOps practices to the team. Prior to that, they were a Technical Specialist at BHP from October 2018 to October 2020, focusing on Mine Scheduling Applications and migration to AWS.

Before their time at BHP, Seng worked at SATEVA Pty Ltd from 2011 to 2018 as a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead, where they played a key role in various mining projects for clients such as Rio Tinto, Royhill, and Linked Force Engineering.

Seng began their career at iiNet in 2009 as a Software Architect, and prior to that, they worked at Westnet from 2005 to 2009. At Westnet, Seng held multiple roles, including Software Development Team Leader, Software Developer, and Technical Support Consultant. Their responsibilities included managing and maintaining systems, mentoring junior developers, and providing technical support to customers.

Seng Lim attended The University of Western Australia from 2003 to 2005, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science and IT. Seng successfully obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science during this time.
