Jeffery Ng

Jeffery Ng has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning across different companies and roles. Jeffery started their career at Umbrella Corporation as an Augmentation Specialist from 1961 to 1967. Later, they worked as a Research Assistant at Advanced Telecommunications Research from 1999 to 2000, where they developed image processing algorithms and co-wrote a published paper.

From 2002 to 2004, they served as a Java/.NET Developer at Upside Technologies Inc, where they developed web applications. At Riptown.com Media, they worked as a Senior Interface Developer from 2005 to 2008, improving and refining various web properties.

Afterward, they joined Fiver Media as the Interface Team Lead from 2008 to 2009, overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of web properties and assets. At OpenText, they served as a Senior Consultant from 2009 to 2011, being responsible for UI development and SharePoint customization.

From 2011 to 2016, they worked at Electronic Arts (EA) as a Web Developer - Front End, contributing to the transfer of game client GUI to a Web Widgets based interface. During the same period, they also served as the Technical Lead of EA Access, setting technical direction and facilitating delivery planning epics.

Most recently, they joined Kabam in 2019 as a Senior Web Developer, where they developed React-based websites integrated with WordPress administration, engineered WordPress plugins, themes, and Gutenberg components, and seamlessly integrated game data into websites.

Overall, Jeffery Ng has a strong background in web development, UI design, and technical leadership.

Jeffery Ng earned a B.Sc in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia from 1996 to 2001. Additionally, they attended Open Text Workshops in 2010, focusing on User Interface Development. In 2007, they completed an Omniture Advanced Implementation program. In 2006, they participated in a Communique Admin and Developer Training program at Day Software.
