Keith Acton

Keith Acton has over 20 years of work experience in various IT roles. Currently, they are the Director of IT at Kabam, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, from 2020 to 2022, they worked as the Director of Cloud Operations at FuseForward, where they were responsible for setting up a global cloud operations center. From 2017 to 2020, Keith worked at PNI Digital Media Ltd, first as the Director of IT Operations & Infrastructure, where they successfully led the Azure cloud migration and data center management, and then as the Senior IT Operations Manager. Before that, in 2017, they briefly served as the Application Manager at Avocette Technologies Inc. From 2012 to 2016, Keith worked at Best Buy Canada as the IT Operations Product Capabilities Senior Manager, overseeing various disciplines such as IT service management, environment management, and disaster recovery. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2011, Keith held the role of Solutions Architect Design Manager at Carphone Warehouse-Best Buy Europe, where they played a key role in implementing a multi-channel experience for customers. Earlier in their career, Keith worked as the Web Manager at JPMorgan Cazenove from 2005 to 2006, as the Project Manager-Consultant at Alzheimer's Research UK from 2004 to 2005, as the Internet/Intranet Manager/IT Consultant at Churchill Insurance from 2002 to 2004, and as a Business Systems Analyst at Prudential Assurance from 1998 to 2002. In these roles, they demonstrated expertise in areas such as web development, content management systems, and database solutions.

Keith Acton's education history begins in 1982 when they graduated from South Delta Senior Secondary School. From 1989 to 1993, Acton attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where they pursued a degree in General Studies with a focus on Biology and Law. In 2003, they completed a degree in E-Commerce from an institution called Certified Internet Webmaster, where they studied E-commerce, Business Studies, and Infrastructure. Acton's most recent educational endeavor took place in 2012 when they earned a Foundation degree in ITIL from Service Management Art. In addition to their degrees, Acton has obtained several certifications, including ITIL Foundation V3 from Service Management Art in May 2012, Agile Scrum Master in October 2009, PMP from Project Management Institute in January 2007, and Certified Internet Webmaster from CIWcertified in January 2006.
