Xinyuan (Ricky) Zhang has a diverse work experience in the gaming and healthcare industries. Xinyuan (Ricky) began their career at Ovitz Corporation as an Analytics Consultant, where they independently built predictive models and performed analysis on customer demographic data using R and SQL. Xinyuan (Ricky) then visualized insights and translated them into go-to-market strategies for both the US and Indian markets.
After that, Xinyuan worked at Kabam as a Data Analyst and Product Manager, where they designed and built a business intelligence system using Tableau.
Continuing their career in the gaming industry, Xinyuan joined DeNA as a Data Product Manager. Xinyuan (Ricky) led a team of four people and collaborated with cross-functional teams to establish an industry monitoring system called "DeNA Cloud." This system was used to monitor and predict industry trends, competitor behavior, IP/game genre trends, and potential market sizes.
Currently, Xinyuan works at Epic Games as a Senior Games Analyst and Product Manager. Xinyuan (Ricky) has experience in product management for popular games such as Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Epic Games Store. Their responsibilities include building business models, creating roadmaps and go-to-market plans, adjusting game features, and collaborating with internal teams and external companies.
Xinyuan (Ricky) Zhang has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Marketing Analytics (STEM Certified) from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration from Zhejiang Gongshang University. For high school, Xinyuan attended Hangzhou Foreign Languages School.
In addition to their formal education, Xinyuan has obtained several certifications. Xinyuan (Ricky) has a Google AdWords Mobile Certification from Google, obtained in January 2017. Xinyuan (Ricky) also holds a Google Analytics Individual Qualification, acquired in March 2016, and a Hootsuite Certified Professional certification from Hootsuite Media Inc., obtained in January 2016. Xinyuan's certifications also include R Programming, which they completed at Johns Hopkins University in October 2015.
