Althea Billings serves as the News Director at KBOO-FM since August 2019, where responsibilities include leading the production of the KBOO Evening News, educating volunteers in journalism, and innovating election coverage. In addition, Althea co-hosts a live talk radio show focused on bridging generational divides and contributes as a Producer/Panelist for the public affairs program "Let's Talk About Race," addressing racism and societal issues. Previous experience includes serving as Editor In Chief of The Pioneer Log, where transformation efforts enhanced the publication's community relevance, as well as roles as a Political Science Tutor and Research Assistant at Lewis & Clark College. Althea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Lewis & Clark College, earned in 2019.
