Nat Mirsky Moon has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career as a Film and TV Development Intern at Perfect Storm Entertainment in 2012. After that, they worked as a Student Production Office at the University of Southern California in 2013. In 2014, they joined ABC Family as a Production Assistant. Nat then worked as a Writers' Production Assistant at Sony Pictures Entertainment from March 2015 to August 2015. They also had freelance roles as a Producer from January 2016 to July 2018 and as an Assistant Director from February 2015 to January 2016. In 2019, Nat joined KBOO Community Radio as a News Writer, Editor, and Anchor. Currently, they are a Project Manager at Writer & Activist Rebecca Walker since August 2018.

Nat Mirsky Moon earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Electronic Music from Sarah Lawrence College, which was attended from 2005 to 2009. During this time, Nat also pursued a Certificate in Political Science and Government at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2007 to 2008. Subsequently, Nat obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Film and TV Production from the University of Southern California, where they studied from 2011 to 2014.
