Marek Jõgis

Marek Jõeleht serves as the CTO at Cloud Factory, specializing in 3D printed jewelry since July 2018. Previous experience includes an Early Stage Researcher role at Tallinn University of Technology from February 2011 to March 2018, focusing on cermet materials with enhanced mechanical and tribological properties, as well as a PhD student working on material research in collaboration with the Estonian Ministry of Defence. Additionally, Marek was a member of NATO's "Applied Vehicle Technology" panel from March 2014 to December 2016, representing the Estonian Government, and served as a Junior Research Scientist at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, where responsibilities included designing parts for additive manufacturing systems. A brief tenure as an R&D Specialist at the Estonian Ministry of Defence included education, research, and innovation management. Marek holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Material Science) and a Master's degree in Product Development and Production Engineering, both from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, along with a secondary education from Tallinna Arte Gümnaasium.
