KACO new energy
KACO new energy, a subsidiary of Siemens AG, is amongst the world’s largest manufacturers of solar PV inverters. The product line-up recommends itself for the full power spectrum from PV systems for single-family homes and commercial and industrial enterprises to solar parks producing megawatts of electricity. KACO new energy is based in Neckarsulm, near Stuttgart, Germany and has supplied more than 900.000 inverters since 1999. The company was the first inverter manufacturer to achieve fully carbon-neutral production as early as 2006. Today, the offering also includes hybrid and battery inverters for energy storage, accessories for grid management and operations and maintenance services. In 2014, KACO new energy celebrated the centenary of the original company which was one of the first suppliers of inverters in the late 1930s.
