Saeed Alshihri

Saeed Alshihri is currently the VP for Energy and Industry at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), where they also serve as the Director of the Material Science Research Institute. With a passion for innovation in clean energy and the utilization of natural gas and CO2, Saeed has held various roles at KACST, including Director of Central Laboratories and Manager of the National Centre for Petrochemicals Technology. They completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London and engaged in academic research in Chemistry at the University of Oxford. Saeed is also interested in STEM and volunteering.
