Ryan Desisto

Ryan DeSisto serves as Assistant General Counsel at Kadant since November 2020, contributing to a legal team that manages all legal matters for a public multinational with over 20 distinct businesses and approximately $1 billion in revenue, focusing on commercial contracts, M&A, corporate governance, public reporting, and ESG initiatives. Prior to this role, Ryan was a Senior Associate at Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP from October 2015 to October 2020, representing private equity and growth equity funds in various investment transactions across several industries, while also providing legal counsel to early-stage companies on governance and financing. Ryan's legal experience includes positions as a Summer Associate at Choate and Appeals Bureau Law Clerk at the Middlesex District Attorney's Office, along with a background in sales management at Harpoon Brewery. Ryan holds a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Vermont.
