Linda Ortega Cordoves

Linda Ortega Cordoves has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Linda is currently working as a Full Stack Engineer at Kadena since 2022. Prior to this, Linda worked at Twitter as a Software Engineer from March 2021 to December 2021. Linda also had a previous stint at Kadena, where they served as a Software Engineer from April 2018 to March 2021. During this time, Linda led the implementation of Rosetta API endpoints in Chainweb public blockchain, created a data-driven public blockchain gas model, and developed an AWS Marketplace solution using Ansible.

Before joining Kadena, Linda worked as a Software Engineer Intern at DoSomething.org from September 2016 to December 2016, where they developed a monitoring feature and implemented a new email feature to increase user engagement. Linda also gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Macys.com from June 2016 to August 2016, where they implemented programming tasks and prototyped an Augmented Reality user interface.

Linda's earlier experiences include serving as a PM & Front-End Development Intern at Context Relevant from June 2015 to September 2015, where they gathered requirements, created wireframes, and developed a front-end web application. Linda also worked as a Junior Developer and Student Advisory Board Member at Athena Digital Design Agency from April 2014 to May 2015, where they produced a Client Engagement draft, implemented web design practices, and interviewed students to understand target users.

In addition, Linda had internships at Columbia | SIPA as a Graphics Intern and Assistant Content Manager from September 2014 to February 2015, where they designed a website and created procedures for a new MPA program. Linda also worked as a Summer Intern at United Against Poverty, Inc. from May 2014 to August 2014, conducting prospect research, coordinating an event, and managing data.

Lastly, Linda was a Member of the Online Division at Columbia Daily Spectator from September 2013 to November 2013, where they collaborated to make sections responsive and integrated changes to the website's stylesheet.
