Michelle Jones

Michelle Jones has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Michelle started their career in 1999 as an Executive Administrative Assistant at Delta System Designs and remained in that role until 2003. From there, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at MetPlas, Inc. for a year before moving on to Ellwood Animal Hospital where they served as a Receptionist/Veterinary Technician from 2004 to 2005. Michelle then joined Medtronic as an Administrative Assistant from 2005 to 2007. Michelle later worked at Kadmon Pharmaceuticals, first as an Executive Administrative Assistant from 2007 to 2013, and then as a Project Coordinator from 2013 to the present. In addition to their pharmaceutical work, Michelle also has experience as a Group Fitness Instructor at Equilibrium Pittsburgh, starting in 2014, and at Cranberry Township since 2017.

Michelle Jones first attended Freeport Area Senior High School from 1982 to 1984, where they focused on Accounting and Business/Management. Michelle then transferred to Highlands Senior High School and obtained their High School Diploma in 1985, with a focus still on Accounting and Business/Management. Following this, Michelle attended the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy in 1985 and 1986, specializing in Cosmetology, Barber/Styling, and Nail Instructor studies.

Afterwards, Michelle pursued higher education at Butler Community College in 1997, where they studied General Studies. In terms of additional certifications, Michelle obtained a Cosmetologist and Hairdresser qualification from the Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology in December 1986. More recently, they acquired certifications in various fitness areas, including Group Fitness Instructor from Bootybarre in June 2015 and from the Athletics and Fitness Association of America - AFAA in September 2014. Michelle also holds a Certified Group Exercise Instructor certification from R.I.P.P.E.D. - The One Stop Body Shock, though the exact date of attainment is unspecified. Lastly, they obtained an Aquatic Fitness Instructor Certification (CAI) from SCW MANIA (Fitness Education) in April 2022.
