Alex Stephen

Alex Stephen has extensive experience in Rope Access operations, currently serving as the Rope Access Operations Manager at KAEFER UK & Ireland since February 2020, following the acquisition of Industrial services of WOOD. Prior to this role, Alex managed offshore Rope Access projects at Wood, first as an Operations Manager and previously as a Project Manager and Team Leader. Alex's career began as a Rope Access Technician at Cape plc in 2005, leading to various supervisory and managerial positions across different companies including Servtech Ltd, TRAC Oil & Gas Ltd, and OUI Ltd. Alex also has a background in training and technical authority roles, contributing to the development of safety protocols and supervising technicians throughout the North Sea and internationally. Education was completed at Fraserburgh Academy, culminating in high school graduation in 2000.
