Marjorie de Beer is a seasoned legal and compliance professional with extensive experience in the finance and insurance sectors. Currently serving as Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and Head of Group Legal and Compliance at Kaelo since March 2020, Marjorie has previously held key positions including Head of Risk and Compliance at Motus Financial Services and LiquidCapital, as well as Group Compliance Manager at Discovery Limited. With foundational roles at Old Mutual iWYZE, MiWay Insurance, and OUTsurance, Marjorie's expertise is backed by a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce in Law from the University of Pretoria, along with specialized certification in compliance through the South African Institute of Financial Markets.
