David Virts Jr.

David Virts Jr. has over 20 years of experience in the field of IT. David has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. From 1997 to 1999, they worked at TeleVox Software as a Technical Support Manager, managing a team of technical support specialists. David also served as a Senior System Administrator, maintaining and repairing a Windows NT network.

From 1999 to 2000, David worked at Sears, Roebuck and Co. as a Help Desk Manager, overseeing a team of technical support specialists providing support to customers. David was responsible for establishing the Mobile Call Center and setting up the necessary infrastructure.

In 2000, they joined STC Business Solutions, Inc. as a Lead Network Engineer, where they built and maintained Windows servers and workstations and designed the layout and connectivity of the IT infrastructure.

From 2005 to 2009, David worked at Southern Earth Sciences, Inc. as the Corporate Information Technology Director. David ensured the streamlined operation of the IT department and collaborated with decision makers in other departments to implement cost-effective technology solutions.

In 2009, David joined Kagome USA, Inc. as the Director of IT & IT Security. Their responsibilities included overseeing the network operation for all Kagome locations in the US, providing technical support and guidance to users, and implementing a disaster recovery plan.

In addition to their corporate experience, David also worked as an Online Instructor at the University of Phoenix. David ensured the success of students taking online courses and maintained expertise in the subject matter.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in network administration, technical support, IT leadership, and implementing technology solutions.

David Virts Jr. holds a Master's degree in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Management from Southeast College of Technology, completing it in 2000. David also holds an Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from the same institution, which they completed in 1997. In 2017, David received certifications from Microsoft, including MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: SQL Server 2012/2014, and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional.
