Joe Connolly

Joe Connolly has a diverse work experience spanning from 2016 to the present. In 2016, they began working as a Software Engineering Intern at GE Global Research, where they fixed 40% of security vulnerabilities in a Java based web application and improved team member productivity by 5% by developing PowerShell/SQL process automation scripts. Later that year, they took on the role of Chief Designer and Developer at Kipper, where they led the design and development of an iOS & Android app for finding college parties and chatting anonymously. This project earned him a $1000 grant to fund the project. In 2017, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at CommerceHub, where they developed features, fixed bugs, and increased test coverage on the frontend and backend of a web application. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineering Intern, where they worked on the Azure billing system and developed an HTML/CSS/JavaScript based web application enabling engineers to more rapidly respond to anomalies. Since 2020, they have been working at Bloomberg LP as a Part-time Product Manager and Software Engineer. In 2022, they began working at Kraft Analytics Group as a Product Manager.

Joe Connolly attended Voorheesville High School from 2011 to 2015 and Dartmouth College from 2015 to 2019, where they studied Computer Science.
