Kelly Strickland, CMP has extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Kelly has held various roles in sales and management, with a focus on group and catering opportunities. Their most recent position was as the Director of Group & Catering Sales at The Kahala Hotel & Resort, where they worked closely with the sales and catering teams to proactively solicit and market group and catering opportunities while achieving revenue goals. Prior to that, they served as the Assistant Director of Sales at the same resort, as well as an Account Director.

Before joining The Kahala Hotel & Resort, Kelly worked at Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort and Spa as a Sales Manager, responsible for soliciting and marketing group and catering opportunities and achieving revenue goals. Kelly also ensured proper service delivery by effectively turning over business to the appropriate departments.

Kelly began their career as an Administrative Assistant at Ilikai Hotel, followed by an Assistant role at Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki and Golf Club.

Kelly Strickland, CMP completed their diploma from Kamehameha Schools in 1992. Kelly then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Travel Industry Management from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, which they successfully completed in 1997.
