David Cheng

David Cheng is a Senior Attorney at Kahana Feld since August 2023, previously serving as an Assistant Attorney General at the New York State Office of the Attorney General from February 2014 to August 2023, where David practiced litigation in various state and federal courts and received the Lefkowitz Excellence in Litigation Award in 2021. Earlier experience includes working as an Associate at The Law Office of Barry E. Janay, P.C., and interning at the San Francisco District Attorney's Homicide Division, the Office of the Mayor, and the United States Attorneys' Offices. David Cheng earned a Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University, School of Law, and holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Theater and Dance and Biology from Colby College.
