Hitesh Sharma

Hitesh Sharma is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience across multiple high-impact technology companies. Currently serving as the Consulting Head of Engineering, Product, and Customer Operations at Kahuna Labs since July 2025, Hitesh was previously the Senior Director of Engineering at Cohesity, where significant contributions were made to the Datapath, Cloud Archival, and Performance Engineering sectors. Prior roles include Director of Engineering at Datrium, overseeing teams responsible for File Systems and Storage, and a notable tenure at NetApp, where crucial data protection initiatives were led, including the successful turnaround of the MetroCluster project. Hitesh has also held engineering positions at NetContinuum, Cisco Systems, and Hughes Software Systems, beginning with a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
