Ellen Peterson-Allen

Ellen Peterson-Allen is an experienced professional in the field of education and child development, currently serving as the Regional Manager at Kai Ming Head Start since October 2021. Prior to this role, Ellen was the Center Director for the Home-Based Program at the City of Oakland from December 2020 to October 2021. Ellen has also held the position of Education Services Manager at Child, Family & Community Services, Inc. from October 2008 to June 2020, and served in a similar capacity at The Institute for Human and Social Development from September 1997 to October 2008. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a focus on Child Development from Humboldt State University, completed between 1991 and 1994.
