Randy Bachmeyer

Randy Bachmeyer has held a number of positions in the technology industry. Starting in 1984, they were a Software Consultant and Executive Manager at Intergraph. Randy then served as CEO of AEC Group, Inc. from 1990 to 1992, before returning to Intergraph as Vice President of the Utilities Division from 1992 to 1998. In 1998, they became Vice President of IT and Product Engineering at MessageMedia. In 2002, they founded Bachmeyer Consulting, and in 2005 they became Chief Technical Officer at Mobular Technologies, where they were responsible for the oversight of production, engineering, professional services, and IT. Randy also served as Board Member and Mentor at BizTech from 2008 to 2010, and then as CEO and Founder of Specify One LLC from 2008 to 2010. Finally, they were Chief Technology Officer at Kailos Genetics, Inc. from 2010 to the present.

Randy Bachmeyer obtained their BS in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University between 1978 and 1981. Randy then went on to obtain their MS in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin between 1982 and 1984. Between 2002 and 2004, Randy Bachmeyer obtained their MS in Computer Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Finally, they obtained their Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville between 2005 and 2008.
