Bret Cummings

Bret Cummings, CFA, CIPM, is an experienced finance and compliance professional with a career spanning over two decades in the private equity and hedge fund sectors. Currently serving as Chief Financial and Compliance Officer at Kain Capital LLC since December 2022, Bret has previously held similar roles at Macellum Advisors LP, Healy Circle Capital Management, Sage Asset Management, and Irvine Capital Management, focusing on non-investment related functions. Prior to these positions, Bret worked as a Director at Rothstein Kass Consulting, overseeing financial and partnership accounting services for numerous investment partnerships. Bret holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Fairfield University, earned between 1984 and 1988.
