Eric Mac Nicoll

Eric Mac Nicoll has extensive work experience spanning over two decades in the financial technology industry. Eric started their career at Desjardins in 1998, where they held various roles including Senior Director of Digital Solutions, Fintech, and Customer Experience. During their time at Desjardins, Eric managed, operated, and optimized online banking sites and mobile services, implemented mobile digital solutions, and significantly increased digital transactions. Eric also identified new business opportunities to enhance the digital offering by partnering with fintech companies and startups.

In 2017, Eric joined exagens as the Executive Director of the Financial Services Market. In this role, they were responsible for driving growth and business development in the financial services sector.

From 2019 to 2020, Eric served as the Regional Manager for North America at Efma, a non-profit association that fosters innovation and facilitates networking among retail financial services companies globally.

In 2021, Eric participated in the Startupbootcamp Australia Accelerator program and received the 2021 Innovation Award for their startup company while working at ADRIQ.

Eric founded Kaira Technologies in 2018 and currently serves as the CEO and Founder. Kaira Technologies is dedicated to addressing employee wellness by simplifying financial management through a personalized digital coaching mobile application. The company aims to reduce financial stress and empower employers to support their employees' overall well-being.

Eric has also been involved in various accelerator programs, including ACET Startup program in 2022 and Canadian Technology Accelerators in 2023, where they represented Kaira Technologies.

Lastly, Eric was part of the Parcours Numérique Quebec France program at Station FinTech Montréal in 2023 and the Station FinTech and Kaira Technologies Accelerator program from September to November 2022.

Eric Mac Nicoll earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal, which they completed between 1990 and 1999. Subsequently, they obtained an E Commerce Professional Certification from the E Commerce Institute in 2003.
