Nianhong Han

Nianhong Han has diverse work experience, starting in 2011 with a role as a Structural Design Engineer at Airbus. In 2016, Han joined JiuCheng General Aviation Design&Manufacture LTD as the Chief Engineer of Flight Test & Flight Test Software System Architect. In this role, Han developed a python based flight test software system, led a team for flight data monitoring and analysis, and edited flight manuals. In 2018, Han became a Graduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University, where they worked until 2023. Currently, Han is working as a Senior Sensor Engineer at Kairos Aerospace.

Nianhong Han pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Airworthiness Technology and Management from Beihang University between 2008 and 2012. After completing their undergraduate studies, they joined Washington University in St. Louis, where they earned their Master of Science (MS) degree in Aerospace Engineering from 2014 to 2016. Their educational journey continued as they enrolled at Iowa State University from 2018 until 2022, undertaking a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering.
