Justin Levinson

Justin Levinson’s career has included serving as an award-winning tenured Professor, an entrepreneurship advisor, an interdisciplinary scholar, and as an engaged Board member. Levinson currently serves as Professor, Deputy Director of the Institute of Asian-Pacific Business Law, and Director of the Culture and Jury Project at the University of Hawaii.

In 2015, he was awarded the prestigious University Regents Award for Teaching, having regularly taught courses such as High Growth Entrepreneurship, Business Associations, and Corporate Finance. In additional to his domestic work, he regularly lectures and collaborates internationally, and has taught courses and held visiting affiliations at UC-Berkeley, Peking University (China), The Interdisciplinary Center- Herzilya (Israel), La Trobe University (Austrailia), and Nagoya University (Japan), and he currently serves on an advisory board to Tsinghua University’s (Chine) new “H-Lab” incubator.

His scholarship has been published at top institutions (including Cambridge, Duke, NYU, UCLA, and Yale) and has been cited by the United States Supreme Court. His philanthropic activity includes serving on three non-profit Board of Directors. He holds degrees from UCLA, the University of Michigan, and Harvard.
