Quan Zhou

Quan Zhou serves as a Distinguished Nuclear Engineer at Kairos Power since February 2019, specializing in source term model development for the KP-FHR and managing key projects related to reactor licensing and mentorship for junior engineers. Previously, Quan held roles as Principal Nuclear Engineer at Jensen Hughes and Lead Nuclear Engineer at Fauske & Associates, LLC, focusing on safety analysis, severe accident modeling, and providing training and technical support. Quan has extensive experience with nuclear safety codes MAAP4 and MAAP5, and has a strong academic background, holding PhDs in Nuclear Engineering from Tsinghua University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
