Mária Tatarová

Mária Tatarová has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Mária is currently the Co-Founder and CAO of Kairospace Technologies Inc., a position they have held since December 2019.

Prior to that, they served as the Secretary Board of Directors at Autism Speaks Canada from October 2014 to January 2022.

In 2018, Mária founded Mineralaide.ca, where they served as an Entrepreneur, Founder, and Water Education Advocate until August 2020.

From 2012 to 2016, they worked at EY Law LLP as a Senior Manager specializing in Transactional Tax. Mária provided tax advice for cross-border transactions and played a key role in tax planning, reorganizations, acquisitions, and financing transactions involving multinational clients.

Preceding their time at EY Law LLP, Mária worked as an International Tax Manager at RBC from February 2009 to December 2010. Mária also gained valuable experience as a Tax Associate at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP from May 2003 to December 2010.

Mária's career began with summer internships at Bennett Jones LLP and Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP in 2002 and 2001, respectively. Mária also worked as a Technical Consultant at Barrigar & Moss (Patents and Trademarks) LLP from January to September 2000.

Before entering the legal field, Mária worked as a Quality Control Engineer at Lafarge from February to September 1998.

Mária Tatarová holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Victoria, which they obtained between 2000 and 2003. Prior to this, from 1997 to 1998, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Collège des Ingénieurs, focusing on Business Administration and Management, General. In 1996 and 1997, Mária earned their first Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Ecole nationale des Travaux publics de l'Etat. Lastly, they completed their initial Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave, which they attended from 1991 to 1996.
