Jon Lay

Jon Lay is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in financial planning, accounting operations, and team leadership. Currently serving as Financial Controller at Kaiser Aircraft Industries, Inc., since July 2024, Jon previously held the position of Controller at C&L Aviation Group from September 2020 to June 2024. Prior to that, Jon was the International Controller at WesTech Engineering, where responsibilities included directing financial operations across seven international offices and leading a 13-member accounting team. Jon’s earlier roles include Assistant Controller, where oversight of invoicing and cash flow management was key, and Accountant positions at both WesTech Engineering and Western Petroleum. Educational credentials include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Utah, alongside leadership training from Dale Carnegie.
