Thompson Ella

Thompson Ella is an experienced professional in research project management, currently serving as the Manager of the Research Project Management Office at Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute since January 2016. In this role, Thompson provides mentorship and supervision to Research Project Managers while contributing to the operational management and development of the Research PMO. Previously, Thompson worked as a Research Project Manager III, overseeing complex pragmatic trials funded by significant grants from the NIMH. Prior experience includes serving as Operations Manager at the Health Care Systems Research Network and as Core Manager for Health Care Systems Interactions with the NIH Collaboratory. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Washington and an Associate degree from Seattle Central College.
