Aaser Ali

Aaser Ali is a Family Medicine Resident at LewisGale Regional Health System since July 2021, following the completion of a Doctor of Medicine degree from UC San Diego School of Medicine in May 2021. Previously, Aaser served as a Lead Intern at UCSD & Cook Elementary Teaching Gardens, where a yearlong curriculum on nutritional concepts for 4th and 5th graders was designed and delivered. Additional experiences include internships in radiology research at City of Hope and quality assurance at Alameda Health System, along with a councilmember position at Marshall College Honors Council, where a mission statement was pioneered. Aaser also worked as a consultant at Julie’s Cafe, significantly increasing revenue, and initiated a reusable container program at UC San Diego dining halls as an intern for the Student Sustainability Collective. Aaser holds a Bachelor of Public Health from UC San Diego, completed in 2017.
