John Nelson

John Nelson has extensive experience in communications and public affairs, having held senior leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente for nearly a decade, where responsibilities included strategic communications, media relations, and brand management. Prior to this, John served as Director of Governmental Relations and Director of News Department at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, overseeing integrated political strategies and public relations. Additional experience includes advising the Governor of Illinois on program communications and owning a consulting firm focused on political research and communications. John holds degrees from California State University-Sacramento and Purdue University, contributing to a robust foundation in effective communication and public policy.
